::: december 2006: complete redesign and elaborate update of the gad studios :::

we are running the new mac pro intel now with a 40 channel computer controller surface on 2 x 23" cinema displays + 2 x 15" Sonydisplays on the sides. editing with an intuos widescreen drawing tablet. 8 new focusrite hiend preamps and some new mics (neumann, octava) complete the frontend.
nice detail: installation of lcd display in front of the vocal mic wired to the control room.

powerful and impulsive pop production featuring the unique voice of 20 year old half phillipine talent 'G.'.
nearly all of the tracks were co-written and prearranged by my brother toby gad in his nyc based studio -
bringing lots of genuine american flavour into the album.

::: june 2005 – april 2006: production of new SANDRA album 'The Art of Love' :::

this will be a ‘mature’ and authentic album, showing the wide range of colours of sandra's unique voice. she wrote nearly all of the
lyrics herself, talks about experiences of her life. nearly all instruments were played live. we used several uncommon elements
like chidren's choirs (also sandra's kids were in the studio), real japanese koto (by miyabi sudo) or distorted violin. i think we
succeeded in making an experimental project sound like a 'pop-album' in the end - this is a 'must hear' not only for sandra fans.
among the writing collaborators were:
- fabrice cuidad (wrote enigma lyrics like ‘sadness’ or ‘mea culpa’)
- winston sela (wrote maxi priest’s ‘close to you’)
- billy steinberg (wrote cindy lauper’s ‘true colours’ and many more)

these identical australian twins already went multiplatinum in australia and are signed to sire records usa. my brother toby gad
produced and co-wrote these 2 tracks, he called me when he needed live drums.
i recorded here in ibiza and sent the audio tracks to nyc via internet.

::: december 2004 – february 2005: mixes for usa artist KACI BROWN’s album ‘instigator’ :::

this album was produced and cowritten by my brother toby gad, signed to interscope usa, managed by
das - entertainment (david sonnenberg).
5 tracks were mixed at gadstudios, 2 tracks remixed, guitar solos recorded on 2 tracks.
the whole file transfer between nyc and ibiza was managed via internet servers.

::: october – november 2005: production of 2nd ACHILLEA album ‘amadas estrellas’ – feat. luisa fernandez :::

the album will be released in the end of 2006 after some delay (sorry!) on bsc / sequoia – records.
it’s performed completely in spanish, features speech and ethnic vocals by spanish talent luisa fernandez and takes you on a
beautiful sound journey through different cultures.

this album is based on a collection of unused demos from my enigma times, completed with new elements and also
2 guest appearances of helene horlyck and luisa fernandez. released on globe music.
